Nurturing Faith Through Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage

The Asian Pacific Advisory coordinates ministry efforts among diverse Asian and Pacific Islander communities across North America. We serve a wide spectrum of cultural groups, including Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Filipino, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Samoan, and other Pacific Islander communities.
Cultural Heritage and Faith Integration

We develop ministry models that honor Asian and Pacific Islander cultural traditions while fostering spiritual growth in the Adventist faith. Our family-centered approach addresses the unique challenges faced by bicultural families raising children in North America while preserving their rich cultural heritage.

Youth and Intergenerational Ministry

We create specialized programs for Asian American and Pacific Islander youth and young adults that help them navigate their dual cultural identities. Our intergenerational ministry frameworks help congregations bridge the gap between immigrant parents and their more westernized children, fostering church unity across generations.

Leadership Development and Resources

We provide culturally specific leadership training programs, partner with Asian educational institutions, and coordinate the translation of key Adventist resources into various Asian languages. These initiatives equip both pastors and lay leaders for more effective service in Asian American and Pacific Islander contexts.

Our Sacred Purpose

The Asian Pacific Advisory plays a crucial role in creating vibrant faith communities where Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders can experience authentic worship that honors both their cultural heritage and Adventist beliefs. Through culturally sensitive approaches and specialized resources, we strengthen cultural identity while maintaining strong connections to the worldwide Adventist message, building communities where families thrive across generations.
