Preserving Heritage, Nurturing Faith

The Zimbabwean Ministry was established in 2004 by Zimbabwean Adventist immigrants in the United States to maintain spiritual connection and cultural heritage among the diaspora community. Our ministry embodies the strong tradition of lay leadership characteristic of churches in Zimbabwe.
Annual Community Gathering

We host a yearly CEM Meeting that brings together Zimbabwean Adventists from across North America. This comprehensive event includes evangelistic training, spiritual renewal, and baptismal celebrations. The most recent gathering was held at Ohio University after a two-year pause due to the pandemic.

Digital Connectivity and Outreach

We have developed robust virtual platforms including Zoom, YouTube, and other digital channels to maintain community connections. These digital initiatives, initially driven by pandemic necessities, have evolved into an effective tool for frequent spiritual engagement and support among geographically dispersed community members.

Youth Empowerment and Leadership

We focus on youth-specific programs for individuals aged 6 to 30, creating leadership opportunities that combat cultural identity challenges. Our approach positions young Zimbabwean Americans at the forefront of church activities, ensuring generational continuity and active participation.

Our Sacred Purpose

The Zimbabwean Advisory exists to maintain spiritual vitality among Zimbabwean immigrants, preserve cultural heritage, and develop a new generation of leaders committed to the Adventist mission. We aim to support both spiritual growth and cultural identity for Zimbabwean Adventists in North America.
